Third-person dark-fantasy action roguelite

You died and Hell took you by mistake. Cut your way back out — and bargain on the way.

Aggressive, flowing third-person melee built on dodge and parry, where power comes from devils: every pact states what you gain and what it costs, plainly, before you agree.

About

You died. Hell took you by mistake. Nobody is coming to correct it.

KOR EDEN is a dark-fantasy action roguelite about cutting your way out of the underworld — and about what you agree to on the way. Hell will help you. Hell names its price first. Devils are not fodder. They are characters, and they make offers: what you gain and what it costs, stated plainly, before you agree to anything. Refusing is a real choice, not a delay. Accepting changes how you fight for the rest of the run.

Two-player local co-op is in the architecture from the first line of code, not bolted on afterwards. Two players, two separately owned builds, two sets of debts — on one couch. The moment it is built for is not “you added damage.” It is “your pact changed my decision.” Solo is complete on its own.

How it plays

  • Every power is a contract. THE PASSAGE: dodge through an attack and your next strike ERUPTS — dodge nothing and you STUMBLE. THE CHAIN: parry to chain your foe and it takes DOUBLE — stray from it and it SNAPS you down.
  • Read the ring. A ring sits over the attacker and shrinks through the telegraph. Press when it closes. Some foes can be parried. Some must be spaced and dodged. Knowing which is the fight.
  • Weight without sludge. Committed swings, controlled hit-stop, immediate turning. No floaty drift, no animation prison.
  • The world stops when a devil offers. A name, one gain, one cost. Accept or refuse.
  • The build is the story. Pacts deepen, transform, oppose one another, and can be given up to buy your way out of something worse.
  • Drop in, split the screen. A second player presses any button on a second gamepad — the screen splits and they join on the spot.
