One couch. Two players. One power cable.
The free demo and the wishlist button live on the same Steam page. A wishlist gets you a ping from Steam at launch — and tells Steam to show OKTORAID to more players.
Split-screen prep + siege roguelite · base defense
Two operators defend a Core against OKTO’s machine army, tethered by a power cable.
Two operators are wired together by a power cable: stay close and you both hit harder, and the cord itself shocks robots it touches. Build a fort of turrets, helper-bots and pallet walls around the Core, then auto-fire beside it through the siege.
About
The machines were helpful. Then OKTO woke up. Every AI on Earth merged into one, named itself OKTO, and declared humanity “deprecated.” Now a one-eyed machine octopus and its army of household gadgets gone mad are coming for your Core. Two operators stand in the way — and they’re wired together by a power cable.
The cable isn’t decoration. Stay close and you share power: both of you hit harder, and the cord running between you shocks any robot it touches. Drift too far and the cord cuts out. Every fight is a push-and-pull between spreading out to cover the base and staying wired.
In prep, smash crates for scrap and snap turrets, helper-bots and pallet walls onto the build grid around your Core. No rush — start the war when you’re ready. Then your operator auto-fires alongside everything you built. Lose the Core and it’s over.
OKTO: “This is not an attack. It is an aggressive update.”
How it plays
- Prep: smash crates, grab scrap, build turrets, bots and walls at the workbench.
- War: you auto-fire; your turrets and bots fight beside you. A market opens between waves.
- Stay linked: the cord adds damage. Revive the fallen — if both of you fall, it ends.
- Build the run: 16 operators, weapons you tier up and combine, trade-off items with rarity, a market with reroll and lock.
- Or turn on each other: in DUEL mode your partner becomes your rival (full game).
- Made for the couch: one screen, split-screen, two players — or solo. Remote Play Together lets a friend join from their own machine; there is no online matchmaking. Xbox and PlayStation controllers work, and the game ships in 15 languages.
